Skills Active Community Recreation Gateway Programme

The Skills Active Community Recreation Gateway Programe is based on the following three modules of learning which form part of the National Certificate in Community Recreation Level 3:

Schools are required to order these Community Recreation resources and will be invoiced at a cost of $150.00 (including GST) per resource per student. An additional charge of $75.00 (plus GST) administration fee per memorandum of understanding will also be invoiced.

Process

Open and print the PDF document Skills Active Community Recreation Gateway Programme .  This document contains all the information you need to follow the steps below:

  1. Read the Skills Active Gateway Policy
  2. School and Skills Active registered workplace complete the Gateway Registration Form
  3. School and Skills Active registered workplace fill in and sign three copies of the MOU
  4. School completes an Individual Learning Plan for each student
  5. School completes the Resource Order Form

Once you have completed the above steps, send the completed documents to the Skills Active Head Office in Wellington. Make sure you include:

  • Gateway Registration Form
  • Three completed and signed copies of the MOU
  • Individual Learning Plans for each student
  • Resource Order Form

Skills Active Action

  1. A completed copy of the MOU will be returned to all signatories by Skills Active.
  2. Resources will be despatched according to Resource Order Form.
  3. Schools will be invoiced by Skills Active for these resources as they are despatched. Schools are required to order the Skills Active Community Recreation resources and will be invoiced at a cost of $150.00 (including GST) per resource per student.  A further cost of $75.00 (plus GST) administration fee per memorandum of understanding will also be charged.
