PROVIDERS A Training Provider is any organisation that offers training for unit standards or qualifications from the New Zealand Qualifications Framework. Such organisations include: polytechnics, universities and schools; Government Training Establishments (GTEs), e.g., the Army; and Private Training Establishments (PTEs), which are privately run organisations offering training. Only accredited Training Providers can deliver unit standards. To gain accreditation, Training Providers have to apply to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and provide evidence of their capability.
