BECOMING A SFRITO REGISTERED ASSESSOR

If you are interested in becoming a Sfrito Workplace Assessor please contact your Sfrito Industry Training Adviser.  Please also continue reading as there is important information below regarding this process.

Role of a Sfrito Registered Assessor

Sfrito Registered Assessor's have the authority to assess people in their workplace using Sfrito's accreditation.  Assessor's are expected to follow the process below:

  • Fully informing trainees of the nature of the assessment to be used and the standards of performance expected (setting an assessment plan).
  • Ensuring trainees understand and agree to the assessment methods.
  • Assess trainees against workplace and national (unit) standards using an externally moderated resource.
  • Give clear and constructive feedback to trainees.
  • Report credit to Sfrito using Sfrito’s credit reporting processes.
  • Participate in moderation checks.
  • Retain clear and accurate candidate records including credit reporting forms for a minimum of 7 years.

Sfrito Registered Assessor's are not authorised to train and assess the public for payment. To do this an assessor needs to work for a training provider accredited with NZQA.
